Puneet Superstar was born as Prakash Kumar at Yashoda Hospital in Ghaziabad, Uttar Pradesh. He did his schooling from DAV Public School, Sahibabad, Ghaziabad. However, due to financial constraints, he could not complete his schooling. In an interview, he has revealed that he was not even allowed to appear for his 12th class exams as he failed to pay his exam fees on time.
Before becoming a star on social media, Puneet also worked in a company in Ghaziabad, where he was earning Rs 10,000 per month. And in 2015 also he lost his job, he didn’t get another job for 1-2 months. And later he started making lip-sync videos on Tiktok on the recommendation of one of his cousins. But even though he didn’t get much views on his videos, he kept posting videos for almost six months.
Even after some time one of his videos went viral on which he got 1300 views and 96 likes. It has also inspired him a lot to make more videos. Even after this he started making comedy videos based on daily life incidents, which also got positive response from the audience.
His video ‘Apne Maa Baap Ke Tukde Pe Palke So Jaunga’ was also one of his most liked videos, which later proved to be successful in his career. Several Bollywood stars such as Anupam Kher and Anil Kapoor and various social media stars also later lip-synced using this video.
