Sushant Khatri is an artist and dancer from Nepal. He was born in Kathmandu, the capital of Nepal. Sushant completed his schooling from Brain Land Academy, Budhanilkantha, Nepal. After that he obtained degree from Tribhuvan University, Kirtipur, Kathmandu. She developed a keen interest in dance at an early age but both her parents wanted her to study further. He started with the b-boying dancing style and used to dance at parties and functions.
His parents were also very much against his love for dance but his sister who is also a famous dancer of Nepal used to support him throughout his journey. With the constant support of his sister, he struggled for two years in the field of dance in Nepal and used to walk seven kilometers every day to learn dance.
Even after continuous failure, he had also come to India to establish a career in dancing. He became a dance instructor and started teaching dance for six months. He trained others in different styles without charging any fee. He also got his first break in the year 2013 when he was also selected for the dance reality TV show India’s Dancing Superstar.
Even though he didn’t win the show but he won the hearts of people all over India and Nepal and it was also his first chance of fame. Later on, she also participated in an online dance show in 2016 and won the show as well. He later auditioned for Dance Plus Season 1, but was rejected by the judges due to his repetitive style and was not even eligible to participate.
Even after that, he did not lose hope and gave his audition for the second season of Dance Plus season in 2016 as well and he not only qualified but also became one of the most loved contestants and finalist of Dance Plus Season 2. He is also a lyrical dancer. He is also well known for belting out every single word of the song through his dance moves. And he has represented Nepal through his participation in various shows. Apart from the dance reality show, he has also appeared in a music video in Nepal along with Aanchal Sharma.
The name of the song is Mangali which is sung by Shiv Pariyar. She has been signed for a role in the third sequence of the mega-blockbuster film ABCD (Anybody Can Dance) directed by noted dancer and choreographer-turned-director Remo D’Souza. The shooting of the film started in the year 2018 and it will also release in November 2019.
